Northwest Iowa has been the home of this project since it started. As a faculty member of Dordt College, I have worked hand-in-hand with the college is a variety of ways on this film. Many of our Digital Media students have been involved in shooting in slums in various parts of the world. Some helped create animations seen in the films, or given great ideas on where to take the story.

The administration of the college has been on board since Day 1 with encouragement, freedom to add this to my workload, and support for the finished project.

The community at large has expressed genuine interest, shown through numerous newspaper articles, a TV interview, opportunities to speak and lots of comments and questions. So it’s only fitting that our Premiere Showing for the N’W Iowa region takes place right here, on the campus of Dordt College in the BJ Haan Auditorium.
