The Fourth World is now, finally, available to view (outside of film festivals.) As of last night, you can now watch it at Google Play and at YouTube Rentals. Our agent in L.A. has done a great job of getting this up and out. At the same time, our agent in Great Britain has also got the same movie out, also on Google Play.
So why the delay? It’s important that we try and win some awards and gain some recognition at various film festivals around the world. Having the film in distribution while attempting to get into many of these festivals is a problem, so we had to hold off with an online presence AND with DVD sales for many months. However, we are now at a place where we can start to make the film a little more available and we’re starting with these digital platforms. We’ll have DVDs for sale in the near future (a month or two).
I can’t tell you how exciting it is to see all of our hard work now, finally, available to people who want to learn more about the 1 billion of us caught up in the largest people migration in the history of the world–the move from rural areas to urban areas. I hope you get a chance to view the film, and I hope you enjoy it.
